I liked a lot of their earlier stuff but loved everything but Balance of Power. Best album is On the Third Day imo.

It baffles me /mu/ doesn't give a shit about this band, eldorado could totally be an /mu/ essential album. I guess it might be better that way though. I think they're extremely consistent all the way up to discovery, but I think secret message is the worst, I just can't listen to it, but what's cool about ELO is even their shit albums had bangers.
