It's really weird and overwhelming the first time, but in the right environment it's really neat. Basically auditory and visual input become hyper-real. You get super sensitive, and your imagination starts riffing on what you hear or see. It's pretty cool, but you have to be some place comfy and probably try it more than once. It's not that bad for you if you eat it instead of smoke it. After your brain has fully developed (around age 25), infrequent use shouldn't have any lasting impact on your brain or mental health.
