It is all the same bullshit that sells. Big producers like to play it safe, so they make templated music full of buzzwords that will statistically make song more fun.

There is little of space for improvisation and invention. If something fresh becomes popular, music industry buys artists off and adds it to its own template.

New genre eventually drowns in the rest of generic shit faster than it would by itself, making popular music monotone.
