The Specials, Madness, and Selector are his favorites. But also DRI, siouxsie, Christian death, björk, ministry, and skinny puppy are up there. He likes reggae, but the only artist I know is Lee scratch Perry.

This album and "chocolate cake" was the first song I ever heard and could remember liking/responding to as a baby. Parents were big fans

My dad really likes Maxim Leonidov, Russian 80s rocker who used to front the band "Sekret" who turned pop later (and sold out maybe? I don't really know but I like his 80s stuff better). We used to listen to him all the time in the car and my dad apparently met the guy too.

He also really likes the Alan Parsons Project, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, though that's mostly just DSotM and WYWH.
