Well it ain't like Haxan Cloak or something, it's subtle. I didn't get it at first but there's a quiet dread and a feeling of "something off" about it throughout most of the album.

The album was described as scary and ominous back when it was released in 2002. /mu/ didn't exist back then.

Its not scary. Its supposed to have a subtle, ominous atmosphere. Listening to it at night alone can be unsettling but not scary thats for sure

I couldn't sleep for 3 weeks after listening to this when it first came out. Got checked into a mental hospital for a couple of days. Probably the darkest time of my life. Even seeing the album cover hurts a little.
