he's gotten lazy, but instrumentals vol 1 + 2 and the rainforest EP are fantastic. now he seems to have taken a way too minimal approach to his music, making it almost amateurish in comparison. his old beats like I'm God, Motivation, and Numb were amazing because they could stand alone without any rappers.

I've only listened to the Rainforest EP. I really enjoyed it. It's pretty and relaxing, but the lo-fi production adds a sort of menacing and ominous depth to it. It sounds the way I imagine it would feel to drop LSD in the Amazon rainforest.
