In Tyler's latest single he keeps referencing Teslas and Elon Musk. Along with Jay Z, Kanye, Kendrick. What the fuck is their obsession with Elon?
2chainz said on his new album smth like "i just bought a tesla, you got nothing left in your tank"

he's cool I guess
Hip hop is very fond of pop culture, of course MC's will try to include plenty of such current references in their verses (muh zeitgeist). It's also one of the reasons why hip hop does not age well since people now in their early twenties (hip hop's main target audience) are probably lost when playing an old Public Enemy or Wu Tang record.

>the alan watts of buddhism
that's the strangest and most apt analogy i've heard in my life

>Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
What did Biggie mean by this in 1995?

How relevant is your knowledge of space when you can just pay people that have a higher knowledge of space?

This desu. I don't personally have any interest in his products or philosophies but I don't understand the bitterness and cynicism regarding his success. I mean I suppose on some level it's a natural reaction to his fanboys acting like he's a messiah but fuck, I get it already, he takes government subsidies and delegates his innovation as opposed to doing it himself.
