I don't think they can be compared. Black is very much focused in Soul and Blonde is more focused in r&b and ambient music.

Both are 9/10, great albums. I personally prefer Blonde because it's more emotionally intense for me.

Black Messiah is definetly the more skilled, defined and crafted album. D'angelo is very in control of this creation.

However, they are both just as emotionally potent for me and desu I think by the end of Futura Free, i get a larger sense of emotional release.

Both are 9/10, and in the top 10 of their years
