I agree. I'm sure they're just songs that they didn't touch up and put on later albums, stuff like Motion Picture Soundtrack and True Love Waits was written around the same time or earlier but they weren't officially released until much later. They may have just stopped caring about those tracks and just dug them up for the rerelease.
