What is your favorite part of this album?
>>73704061
3:15 to the end of To All The Dancers of the World is one of the most blissful moments in music.
>>73704061
~3:00 into Fruitcake and Cookies when the lovely dreamy singing breaks into pure spinning mechanical glitch.
It's able to reach deep down into my childhood memories and pluck things back to the surface that I had completely forgotten about

Is V:D:C the IDM equivalent of Prust?

When it ends!
kekekekekek!!!
probably dedicated, it's such a smooth song. It feels like riding one of those horizontal escalator/walkways at airports. But like, instead of ending, it goes on forever.

The Shoegazey parts of Chocolate Matter
BREAK DOWN BABY
Chorus 2 of chocolate matter with the distorted guitar in the background
The last two minutes of International
>>73704061
damn, that's hard. Probably the intro to Fruitcakes and Cookies, just listening to the way the different electronic sounds pan left & right is pure bliss.
The shoegazey first section of the last song is really underrated. But also International is one of the most beautiful songs ever made, I can only listen to it so much because it's really bittersweet
I know I really love VDC because it's one of the only albums I know where so many different tracks have been my favorite track at some point.
I love the way the guitar bends and twangs around in the second verse of Chocolate Matter though.

Dsco
>>73704061
the part with the sweet trips
I feel like this album got meme'd really hard to be as popular as it is; I still love it though. My favorite part would probably have to have to be the wavy breaks in DSCO.
Why no love for Sept?
the chorus of chocolate matter

It's literally not discussed anywhere outside of /mu/

Came here to say that Sept is my favorite, in fact. International is not far behind it.

Either
"INTO THE (dont know what she says there but you know what part I mean)
or that part in Tekka where it glitches so hard that it stops and the whole thing raises its pitch up for a millisecond
>I know you too well, to bring up death
>I know you too well, to bring up death
>I know you too well
>I know you too well

CHOCOLATE MATTER
The acoustic guitar at the very end of the album. so perfect.
Probably some point at International, but it's hard to pick bc the album has a lot of perfect moments.
Off You Will Never Know Why though, I can pick one: I WILL NEVER FALL, I WILL NEVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN

DARKNESS COMES TO MURDER THE SUNSHINE
>the wordless vocals after the second chorus of Dsco
that whole song in general is 12/10

>when the tabla kicks on sept
I love all of International but the glitched rehash of the album's prettiest vocal melody from 5:48 on is the best imo
>>73704211
it is hard to top that though
>>73708090
Sept is also really underrated, love that bassline and guitar tone, and has one of the prettiest vocal melodies on the album
this is /mu/'s little gem. very comfy
I forgot the name of the track but i did acid to this album and then final track of this album completely blew me away
HE SAID RUNAWAY
INSTEAD YOU WERE SCARED
>>73704061
I like the bit where she says 'run away'
