Also early helvetia is pretty similar. I think the guy from that band was either the drummer or bassist in duster.

Also try American Analog Set, Luna (same guy as Galaxie 500), and Sebadoh.

They aren't necessarily the same music style, but all have pretty sad sounding/slow-ish moving music.

Bedhead is probably the closest musically, imo, cus both them and duster use lots of short, repeating melodies for each instrument part to create that weird flowy feeling.
