Why do we never talk about early Bathory?

Bathory's first 3 albums are top fucking tier. Reap of Evil off The Return is probably the earliest instance of pure death metal vocals and intensity.

I could never get into Viking Bathory, as soon as Quorthon starting singing I was out. Blood Fire Death and their debut are my favourites for sure. So many dope riffs in BFD too.

Other than Sabbath (which was when I was a kid) Under the Sign of the Black Mark was the first metal album I got into. Still so fucking good.
