I sit and listen to music and make pointless conversation on anonymous forums. I'm not sure why I wouldn't just listen to music if I'm doing this. Right now I'm into looking for current releases and making charts so I can get more recs and boost my ego through compliments and having opinions. It's not such a crazy thing to understand.

It's been half a year so far. Having 10 (or 22 in OP's case) albums you've enjoyed significantly this year says nothing about a person's life aside from that they like to keep up with new music. It's been like 180 days. With free time each day plus weekends, that's a ton of albums you can listen to over that period of time. Two albums a day? That's 360 so far this year, so someone could have listened to his ten favorite albums from 36 different years in that time if he wanted. And that's a low estimate because you could easily fit in more than that, especially with weekends.

Is your whole point to all of this that it upsets you if people don't work a job all day every day? Or are you sad you don't have time to enjoy more music?
