I listened to the discography like I said... and I was severely disappointed with it. It's clear now that Grimes is a meme.

The songs I had listened to on YouTube prior that made me call her "mediocre" in the first place were literally the best songs taken off the album/s. They were the best she has to offer. Fucking laughable.

Visions is much better than Homogenic. The latter is a glacial, unmemorable, unemotional album with a few good songs and the rest filler. Homogenic is the definition of style over substance. You're left with nothing after it finishes. The main issue is the lack of good songwriting. This album relies heavily on production and it barely has any decent melody. Remove the production and you're left with empty shells. Also her singing is very screechy from time to time.

Post and Debut are much better in every way.

My point is that Bjork deserves the credit for the album because she arranged and composed all of the work that these session musicians are doing. All that they are there to do is fulfill Bjork's creative vision, and they do by doing what she tells them. One artist making music badly by themselves is still not as bad as one artist making incredible music with a rotating cast of people to play multiple instruments that would take years to learn all of them by themselves. You're putting way too much emphasis on the solo aspect.
