I think it helped that I heard this album when I was a teenager, because I was so blown away on how relatable the songs were to me like Don't Talk and I Just Wasn't Made For These Times. I was lonely, nerdy kid who felt connected to the feelings that Wilson and Asher wrote about. Now that I'm an adult in the military, songs like Sloop John B and You Still Believe In Me make me tear up because I realize my family still loves and misses me. No other album has ever hit me this hard and I always take the time to praise it.
