Listen to it a few times. After the third or fourth time you will either know you don't like it, or you'll be completely infatuated with it. Most albums posted on /mu/, even the entry level stuff, takes a few listens to appreciate. This isn't like deadmau5 or something where you can listen to some terrible 240p youtube video once and get something out of it

MPP would still be alienating to most "normal" people. A lot going on, extended droning, unusual vocals, etc, etc.
