When I first picked up the Album I didnt know what to expect. But it looked like my sort of game so I dived into it anyway. Though the concept exited me, the game was not executed perfectly. I disliked the lack of iron sights and i would rather the basic scope would be acsessed without pressing rmb, and it would be nice to have some new game modes to. because I like being able to dive into the match right away instead of waiting a long time only to die straight away. I think this game has potential in the future although i had no enjoyment in its current state.

Listened to it way back in 2003. Didn't care for it. Every once in a while I put it on, just trying to hear what I missed. I don't think I missed anything, it's just not all that great. My hate spawns from having to see this album cover everywhere, worst of all tattooed on hipsters. It sounds good to me. I don't know what else to say. I enjoy picking out melodic or rhythmic ideas in the music and tracing how they develop. I like that it has a sense of humor and doesn't take itself too seriously. I like the lyrics and Beefheart's insane delivery. I didn't like it at first, but something kept drawing me back to it, call it morbid curiosity if nothing else. The fourth time I listened to it it just clicked, like a switch went off in my head and I realized that I was really enjoying the experience of listening to it. Once you get used to the dissonance it stops sounding like mush and you discover the structure behind it all. And really, it is an album you're supposed to have fun with despite how abrasive it is.

It's not for everyone, though. If you listened to it and nothing about it appealed to you at all just move on. Plenty of other music out there. Listen to your gut. But if something draws you back to it, you find yourself thinking about it, maybe give it a couple more tries.
