Not him, but Graceland was Paul Simon's attempt at trying to make South African music, so he got some musicians from South Africa and made the album. Apartheid was still in effect in 1986 and just about everyone beside (((them))) boycotted everything from SA so Simon got them butthurt over the fact that not only did he grab a bunch of black musicians from SA,defying the boycott, but the album itself was relatively apolitical at that. Simon didn't give a fuck and though that the album was anti-apartheid by the fact that black and white musicians were working together.

Simon is still a rich motherfucker.
