Went to Shaky Knees alone this year as well as after shows. The artists at the festival really lined up with what I have been listening to lately. Got to meet a bunch of the artists which was a huge plus. Went to Europe for 2 weeks right after this festival and I enjoyed the festival much more.

this may just be because im still riding off it but songhoy blues at glastobury this year were incredible

Zappa plays Zappa when they had Flo & Eddie as guests. Those two are in a leauge of their own as vocalists.
I also saw Slint on the Breadcrumb Trail tour, and that was astounding.

Pretty normie concert but RHCP was extremely good this year. They have this great light setup that moves around in the dark. I thought their new guitarist would make it lame but the jams were raw as fuck. Flea has some serious presence too.
