Mostly post-grunge and nu metal with a douchey vibe and lacking in innovation or uniqueness. They write objectively bland, juvenile music and perform it loudly (often overproduced). Vocalists are mostly raspy and reek of an inflated ego, and then they try to convince you they have a more sentimental side in ballads which they are overly breathy or singing in a broken tone or cracking their voice constantly.

Nickelback, Creed, Skillet, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Saliva, Alter Bridge, Avenged Sevenfold, Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Flyleaf, a lot of people say Slipknot but I don't know their music
