here's a 1982 Petrus/Malavasi classic project
after Change and BB&Q band, this one was recorded in New York rather than Italy, and features Denis Coffey, Fonzi Thornton, and one most of the tracks the (co)production of a young unknown guy that would be revealed the following year : Kashif
anyway, one of the most ace A sides I know of, and an album ou can't pass on if you enjoy 80s boogie !

I don't know why but for some reason the first Gap band album and this one are pretty often ignored. maybe thats's because of their dumb idea of naming them "Gap band 1", "Gap band 2" and so on after they went on the Mercury label and successful, but whatever strong Sly and the family stone influence for this recommended 1977 output
