I don't get the hype..

The prospect of an actually good Odd Future is really exciting. They just have yet to be actually good.

this is really boring but the odd future comparison doesn't make sense, almost no one in odd future was talented when they started but aren't most of these guys artists already?

Peoples are always desperate for something to be hype about to make their boring lives more exciting by any means. So if it slightly different from what considered a norm, in a obnoxious way, but still safe enough for normies to comprehend, it's a new hip trend for next few months/years. Than repeat.

It's a really inconsistent album and overall isn't that good, though HEAT might be HHSOTY
