I lost a friend to suicide about a year and a half ago. Its weird how they become just a memory. I always think of the famous people who killed themselves for this reason. Its like, no matter what you do, death totally disconnects you from everything you ever thought was real. I still think about what that means.

Another song that really gets me is ceremony by joy division/new order. I prefer the unfinished joy division version. There is something so heartbreaking about it. The fact its Ian Curtis's most heartfelt song, but he committed suicide before a studio version was completed. It feels like a parallel for what he shut himself off from.
