>Spinetta based
Compared to cerati I guess. Anyways his son is better. Also even though you said Latin America
>heroes del silencio >>>> soda estereo
But I can't stand either of them or their frontmen
>inb4 the Zoe fags
>inb4 cafe tacvba fags
They're both overrated
Haven't listened to any rock in Spanish in two years

pedropiedra showed a lot of promise, but he dropped the ball hard on his last album

I actually didnt care about Pedropiedra until i listened to the latest singles. I havent listened to the entire album though, but the singles so far have been great in terms of melody, lyrics and production.

Those are certified classic,no doubt, but what's the best musical movement out there right now?I'm not going to listen to Spinetta whenever I want to listen to Latin music.
Residente has been pushing Latin Rap forward with his latest project.
NAAFI,with their 'Pirata' series have made estoric club a latin identity.
Also the new wave of reggaeton is a breath of fresh air but gets boring too fast.
One of my favorites from this year.

op here
I just wanted to list some eyecatching albums that everyone already knew so the thread didn't die immediately. But yeah, reggaeton has some hidden gems not everyone seems to notice, some of my favorites:
Arcangel - Los Favoritos
Daddy Yankee - Talento de Barrio
Plan B - (any album)
Nicky Jam - Vida Escante
Calle 13 - self titled
I really enjoy this piece.
What about this
