When I say "European culture" I am obviously speaking colloquially in broad terms. It's not meant to accurately represent all aspects of it. It's just an umbrella term that indicates those cultures that are similar to each other in the aspects relevant to the context.
Saying "Arab culture" would be equally appropriate if you're broadly speaking about the arab world, even if the countries that's made of have their own cultures, much like people say "American culture" even if its states (or even cities) have their own separate ones.
And you can go even deeper by saying "NYC culture is an offensive term" because NYC is made up of different boroughs with separate cultures of their own, but it's still absurd to consider it offensive because it doesn't "do justice" to its separate ones.

To put it in another way, compare the level of similarity between european countries and the one between a European one and an Asian one.

This promotion company for the new album/tour is one of the wierdest/worst/??? promo companies i have ever seen for album/movie/game. Katy tries so hard to show her 'natural' and 'down-to-earth' side of things, with these live translations, therapy session (?) and such. But it feels so fucking forced, it feels like it's a transition for the sake of transition, for the sake of rebranding, and she just seems out of place in those videos.
Also, the wierdest part about is that they are pushing this new 'product' in Katy AFTER the album is released. The album got very low scores from critics, the second worst after her debut, and this just makes this campaign look like they are desperately trying to save a sinking ship. Which is not the case, Katy doesnt really need high ratings from critics, the album's gonna sell anyway, they should've just start this promo before the album dropped.
