Summertime was great, but a bit too long for my liking. First disc outshines the second by far. Vince doesn't sell much anyways, so it's not like he has a massive audience. I don't think many people bothered with Prima Donna, and are still expecting Shyne Coldchain. Like you said, people just want shit to turn up to, Big Fish is about the only track with potential to be a hit.

I wanted more bars from Vince that weren't drowned out by the beat. Otherwise this shit bangs, not better than summertime06 but they're very different.

to me it just feels like it was an EP that was being overworked on for FAR to long with like 2-3 bangers packed in between. it's experimental and probably innovative but it's also boring, bland, clanky and impression-less. i think these rap publications are hopping on board so they can look edgy by putting an experimental album on their end-of-year list

The production is amazing, wasn't expecting it to sound so crazy and electronic. But Vince, what the fuck.....am I really the only one who found him so goddamn underwhelming? He doesn't state much of anything nor do any of his lyrics leave much of an impression. So sleezy and bored sounding, and saying stuff that doesn't go anywhere or is completely unimportant or redundant (besides the intro). I've heard it twice now and all I want is the instrumental version.

He sounds awful here, on the mask off feature, on the rae sremm feature. He mixes in some singsongy shit that just does not work.

I don't even know what he was thinking with the Mask Off feature. Heard it, was technically brilliant as usual, and then I've never played that version again and nobody is fucking with it.

It's like he hears a beat and goes "how can I kill all replay value for this track?" And the other guy was right, it seems to have gotten worse since UU.

To me personally his best feature was on Pusha T's Nosetalgia. He completed that track, was the perfect person for it and delivered a great memorable verse without the need for fancy gimmicks, fancy flows, and showed respect for the beat, worked with Pusha T it rather than treating both him and the beat like the enemy, like he usually does on any beat he hasn't practically curated for himself. It really shows me just how much control he wields over the music on his albums.

That turnt up feature flow he has really only works on FlyLo's beats and it worked really well on Never Catch Me. On other songs, not at all.

I'm still mad at that Goosebumps verse.
