Eh. Can't hate on that sort of thing though. I'm sure all of us got into music through some pretty stupid means. At least Yes is a gateway into some pretty good prog.

I know quite a few people who got deeper into music because of JoJo; Pink Floyd got pretty big with Diamond is Unbreakable, and with Vento Aureo coming we might have King Crimson having a bit more of a presence.

The problem is that nearly everyone stops at that point. They dont 'get into' the genre anymore and seek out new music, they stay listening to the entry level shit that they wouldn't even know about without seeing it on their dumb meme show
