I like turning a maj7th chord into a maj7th sus2. It switches the feeling of the chord from"dreamy" to "heavenly". I think it's because it eliminates the minor third that seperates the 3rd and the 5th and keeps the two perfect intervals. It just sounds peaceful without tension.
