>"that Guy"
LOL! Outsider, at best!
Move jazz down no one but weirdos listens to it anymore sadly.
it doesnt include power electronics.
>I don't rate kreatrock
Skull Fuck Rainbow doesn't mean anything?
Every genre in Level 4 is wrong, most of them should be on the Level 3 at most.
>>73489355
>Dubstep and jazz in level 1
>Classic rock in level 2
Classic rock is the most normies of all "genres"
>>73489347
where is slowcore
>>73489364
pleb
>>73489384
And dubstep isn't? Filth.
I wouldn't consider a good handful of drone, avant-garde or dark ambient higher than free jazz or noise.
No one - including several girls I was interested in - found post-rock anything close to weird. Everyone thought it was either too slow/boring or very interesting (but either not something theyd listen to usually, or they also became fans).
Just because a genre is not popular, it's perfectly normie.
IDM???? ART POP???? would honestly call the police and tell them to keep an eye on you if I saw either of these genres in your library.

dubstep is definitely a level below classic rock unless youre one of those idiots who doesnt know what dubstep is
Many of these should be higher
>Level 1
Pop, Country, R&B, Rap, Rock, Classic Rock, Smooth Jazz, Reggae
>Level 2
Alternative, EDM, Indie Rock, Ska, Metal, Folk, Dub, Happy Hardcore, Pop Garage
>Level 3
Dubstep, Techno, House, Jungle, Breakbeat Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Post-Punk, Extreme Metal, Prog, Post-rock, Screamo, Melodic Hardcore, Shoegaze, Art Pop, IDM, Non-Pop Garage
>Level 4
Math Rock, Industrial, Ambient, Noise Pop, Noise Rock, Speedcore, Breakcore, Krautrock, Third Stream Jazz
>Level 5
Noise, Harsh Noise, Free Jazz, Free Improv, Modern Classical
>Level 6
Avant-Garde Jazz, EAI, Musique Concrete, New Complexity, Integral Serialism, Sonorism
Like 95% of the shit I listen to is level 4 or below. This chart is busted. Fucking art pop and shoegaze are stupidly accessible. Also
>experimental as a genre
>>73489818
>EDM, IDM
means literally nothing
>Breakcore level 4
it's level 2 at best
>Math rock, Noise pop and Noise rock level 4
level 3 at best also
>Modern classical
such a broad term means nothing
Switch avant-garde jazz and free jazz
do this and you might have a half-decent ranking
Math rock should definitely be level 3
>>73489941
avant-garde jazz is much weirder than avant garde jazz if you are talking about actual avant-garde jazz and not third stream jazz
>>73490056
>much weirder than free jazz
is what i meant to write
>>73490056
Really depends, most of the popular avant-garde jazz is very accessible
>>73490165
i.e. ?
>>73490171
Coltrane, Davis, Roach, Dolphy, Mingus, Coleman, Jarrett have all made popular avant-garde jazz albums which are accessible, more accessible than most free jazz
>>73490257
all of those are third stream mate
>>73490268
Do you have any idea what third stream is? I don't think so
This is third stream jazz
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0nL7o4SGHk
This is avant-garde jazz that has nothing to do with third stream
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln8naZpOJ0o
>>73489347
where is the funk?
>>73490290
Funk transcends all these levels. Anyone can enjoy it.
>>73490288
both sound like third stream to me lol
avant garde jazz is like this https://clyp.it/pqbvlavi
>>73489941
lol get over yourself gaybo
Math Rock level 4 is pretty harsh. It's a pretty catchy genre.
>>73489347
>kreatrock
All these years and I'm still not sure if it was a legitimate typo or a dumb joke
K R E A T R O C K
>prog level 3
>art pop level 4
