The remaster to my ears makes thing sound a little more different, less overproduced, though some instruments are sound effects are a lot more noticeable. Gives it a bit more of a psychedelic feel sometimes. Of course it's into a remaster, not a remix so doesn't expect heaps different. But I like it. I also hadn't heard any songs from disk 2 before so listening to it was like a whole new Radiohead album (and I'm gonna treat it as such). I've got it in its own album with the cover art in my iTunes.

Let Down is different though I think EMI cut out the twinkly bit during the last chorus in the original release for radio purposes and you hear it here.

OK hear me out I am very very happy with how Lift sounds but...

Its a bit slow and I wish it was more like Proto-A Rush Of Blood To The Head like it was with its original bootleg.

I hope that Lift is better on the final version cause this is quite trash, but I guess its cause it loses the agressiveness of the live.

Honestly: one of the most gratifying experiences from listening to the remaster is my re-disovery of the song 'How I Made My Millions' the remaster gives it a renewed lease of life and it's really disarming.

Here is a quote about it (which only serves as to make the song more disquieting): "While Thom was creating the song, his girlfriend, Rachel, was in the kitchen putting away the groceries or making supper, and the noises she made can be heard in the background. As for the song’s meaning, it has never been disclosed by the band, and the lyrics are almost unintelligible. Since Radiohead has achieved success by putting out records tha make people question what Thom is saying and what he really means, the title couldn’t be more suitable."

Just listened to it. MP3 is legit. Compare both versions of Let Down, the blinky computer noises start from the last "Let down ahhh" line and keep till the song finishes. In both the original CD and 2009 Collector's Edition the computer noises finish when he starts the "You know, you know where you are with" line and then reappear at the end of the song.

yeah, changes are barely noticeable in the original album, I think the b-sides are more noticeable (Palo Alto, Pearly*, Meeting in The Aisle and How I Made My Millions for example)
