I dont really consider GNR "hair metal"- sure they were from LA and used some hair spray but they were nothing like the fluff of Poison, Dokken, Winger, Ratt etc...they were down and dirty punks who lived in the gutter and wrote songs about ( at least for AFD). I started with Nirvana in middle school so I always hated Guns.

I still like their music somewhat, and they are apparently coming to Las Vegas soon.
I am certainly in no hurry to see them, but my uncle said if he gets tickets for them I can come along.
I figure it will be a great family bonding opportunity whether the music is all that quality or not.
