One of my favorites
come at me.
>>73449522
It's a great album.
9/10, Tool's best album. I like Tool's music a lot but Maynard James Keenan strikes me as a huge asshole, and I feel like a neckbeard listening to them.
Fav tracks: The Grudge, Schism, Ticks & Leeches
cant stop playing this shit on repeat, the song is a cat being squeezed

>Maynard James Keenan strikes me as a huge asshole
>implying there's even a 1% chance this ISN'T true
>hardy har, look at how cool math is!!
>hardy har, i'm incorporating some stupid nerd shit into my music!!
>hardy har, i sing into a megaphone!!
what a fucking terrible band

You must be fun at parties.
>>73449616
You think that's a descent argument? You realize how easy it would be to do the same to your favorite artist?
I've listened to every Tool album, even Lateralus a couple times, just cannot get into it.
>>73449635
It isn't an album about straight intensity like a lot of metal. It is about the small subtleties. It's important to keep that in mind. It has force, but it also has precision and it knows when to be softer.
>>73449538
Tool aint for neckbeards. I only knew 3 tool fans, the first one was veteren, the next one left his home at 17, and the third one is a restaurant manager
>73449616
This is next level trolling or retardation. Undecided. Either way, (You) have been denied that which you seek.
>>73449621
tool must be fun to play at parties
>>73449707
Prog metal can be kinda neckbeardy. It doesn't really matter though.
>>73449785
It's not supposed to be party music you turbofaggot.
>>73449785
hardy har go fuck yourself
Reflection is Tool's best song, every song on this album that isn't filler is great
never listened but that album cover looks awful
no idea why so many people shit themselves for this soft rock dronefest

Alex Grey did the art. He's an amazing artist. I liked it before I ever touched a psychedelic. I liked it even more after.
>>73449309
Tool's fanbase is the only reason for the undeserved scrutiny
http://www.scaruffi.com/vol5/tool.html
What explanation do they have for not having their music available digitally and through streaming? I can't think of a single possible good reason.
>>73451300
They want people to listen to the album in it's entirety. Which most people don't because they have way too much fucking filler.
>>73449823
there is no filler on this album lad
10/10
>>73449309
I downloaded and listened to it the first time the other day.
Not bad desu but I thought it was a bit overhyped by other people. Probably worth a relisten, and I want to check out their other stuff
>>73451624
Faaip De Oiad isn't filler? I do agree the album is a 10/10 tho
>>73451680
>Faaip De Oiad
I don't think so the alien stuff adds to the theme of the album. Tracks 9-12 are my personal favorite lineup of songs on an album ever.
9. "Lateralus"
10. "Disposition"
11. "Reflection"
12. "Triad"

I like this and Ænima a whole lot, but Tool's fans' reputation blows.
