I pretty much exclusively listen to unknown artists from soundcloud threads or mainstream hitmakers on spotify playlists. I pretty much never listen to anything in between.

Lorde's most recent album might be my favorite album since Ys. It's so recent that I can't really contextualize it but it's really really good.

Whitechapel are in my top 5 favourite bands.
Admittedly that's only for the first 3 albums, and I imagine nostalgia plays a small factor in that.
