started out as a dadrock kid, parents wouldn't let me listen to anything mildly inappropriate. loved metal but didn't realize it, and with christian parents on my back it was just me listening to crazy train hundreds of times
then the wonders of rock band and internet music came along and i got addicted to dragonforce
i thought i had some superior music taste because while all of these plebs listened to their shitty hip hop i listened to actual musicians!
then i learned that dragonforce sped up their recordings and never listened to them again unless i was playing rock band. i shifted to megadeth around that time, i think by the time i hit eighth grade i was into death. i randomly liked slipknot at some point that i can't remember, then i went on the internet and heard they weren't kvlt enough so i didn't listen to them at all. long story short i allowed my opinions to be shaped by the internet.
