Just wondering what people think of this, I don't think I've seen anyone discuss it anywhere
I love his music. Also I made a thread about him a few months ago, but it didn't get many replies, it was mostly about Cage and Reich.
I've only listen to that album but i really liked it. Where should I go from there?

Anything, really. You can listen to Moondog, Moondog 2, Moondog And His Friends, More Moondog.
Shit, this sounds like some corny 80's comedy film.

literally everything he was involved with is good, h'art songs is my favorite though

His music is certainly unique, a brand of ambient, angelical, chanting, but way more structured and musical if that makes sense. I first heard about him as the blind viking, but I was so pleasantly surprised by his music that I keep coming back to him.
I've never heard anyone else like him, would you know any similar artists to Moondog?

There isn't anything really similar to him, but here's some other musicians:

You could go with The Viking of Sixth Avenue. From what I understand it's a compilation album. Some of the songs are also on Moondog 2. But it doesn't really matter, all of his music is just super comfy

A similar artist in terms of percussion and overall comfiness would be Mo Kolours, I think. Although MK's music is more beat centered:
