I've always been into jazz, but I recently started digging into some afrobeat. Water No Get Enemy hooked me. After looking around it seems like there's only really Fela Kuti and Antibalas. Is this true? Any particular records that stand out from them or any other afrobeat artists? Also, why isn't it a more popular genre?
I also found this awesome afrobeat/afro-pop song that I feel everyone should listen to. It sounds like sunshine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myEv3Qr3Efo

I blind bought this at my local record shop and it turned out to be fucking amazing. Very energetic, partially French language afrobeat from Benin. Definitely would recommend.
