I mean, it's not bad, it's not bad at all, but I wouldn't normally bump this desu, but that's just me. I can see people getting all pissy about this tho, but I think they don't really have a sense of humor.

About the question: I'm guessing being unrealistic is allowed? If so, Kris Angylus. Yeah, he's dead, but that's tops. For the living, Phil Elverum. Maybe Jean Ghetto.
>>73403200
Gratz on the double 00s, but this is...well, instrumentally it's not bad, and the lyrics aren't nearly as offensive as they probably want them to be, but the DSBM lover in me is irritated by this because it isn't emotional in any way. Just feels like jokey metal backed by solid instrumentation. I'd give it the time of day around as much as Dethklok.
If this is your band, sorry/not sorry for the harshness. Just not my shtick. And it is a shtick.
>>73403519
>Dreams & Nightmares
convinced me to check it out desu. I can see where you're coming from, only through the first two tracks. I enjoy the mood a lot. Solid as ambient goes. Feel like it never really gets dangerous enough to be nightmarish, but Scott Walker set the standard for me and it's hard to measure up to.
Hard Recs:
>>73403293 as always
>>73403266 I'd really like to see what you could come up with if you just spent a year (or even two) focusing on one album. There are just so many good ideas throughout your stuff, but the more I dug in the more I realized I really wish you could just condense all of those ideas and release something seriously special.

Hope you dig it--currently working on new stuff.
>>73403774
Well, I spend a year on "She Unraveled..." and to be quite honest I see this as a complete crapshoot, a miscarriaged tribute which I wanted to make something special. Since no amount of work will make me feel happy about my music I'm going with the feeling which is basically a shot in a foot in every way possible. Especially at this point and time. But hey, the new release is planned for three months work so, maybe, I don't know.
Fuck that, let's go through recs:
>>73403835 Jolly good, new stuff!

>>73403947
And "She Unraveled" was my favorite thing you've put out, so that for sure makes sense. I get your perspective. I just feel like if you went out of your way to only put out your best ideas, you could come up with something pretty fantastic. They don't have to all have the same mood, just a loose tie. That's how the best albums typically do it.
>>73403928
Majority of people on here seem to say that, majority of my friends/diy scene seem to say nobody home and zzz. I'm pretty torn since those are on totally opposite ends of the spectrum

Of course I'm no psychologist, I really like all the music all you guys make, and I am always really impressed at the quality of musicianship in these threads. So thank you as well for sharing your tunes
