Wazzup /mu/. What is your opinion on Rockabilly and Psychobilly music? Can't remember the last time I had seen anything related to Psychobilly on this board and it's a genre that has really peaked my interest lately. Love the sound of a stand up bass the way it is used in this sort of music. Can anyone recommend me some good albums? Cheers.
Hot pants
Mano negra
I like cheesy campy stuff so I like it, there's a lot of garbage in that genre, but some good stuff too. Don't care if they're considered a poser band but I fucking love tiger army

Gotta agree with you about Tiger Army, I saw them a couple months ago with Gambler's Mark and Tijuana Panthers opening for them and that really is what kickstarted my interest. Had a great time at that show.

I found this CD at a record shop the other day for like $4. Great buy.

Tiger Army
Demented Are Go!
Necromantix
I never felt the genre was very compelling, but I liked the listed artists.
The only artist I can think of in general rockabilly is Rev. Horton Heat, which I don't really care for.

I saw them with to and creeper in a small venue in va beach. Had a good time, really pretentious crowd though. Was so into tiger army's first song fired all their bassist like at me. Well worth the 12 year wait

My girlfriend's mother was friends with the lead singer of Nekromantix for some time a few years ago. Small world.
