It's really great. Only. Few listens in though. There a lot going on and I'll need some more time to fully absorb it. But overall, it's a wonderful album.

I think it's very good. The response to it has been very interesting too. I see a lot of people calling it "dull", but I can't help but feel that's only because their previous efforts could occasionally be a bit emotionally overblown. A lot of the melodies are less intuitive, but I really think it's a mistake to say that they're worse than on previous albums. Despite the twists and turns it still all feels very cohesive and planned out.

Also I shouldn't care but I'm almost positive Fantano's gonna give it a 6 today.

At first I thought it was possible he'd 10 it up, but then I remembered that Fantano's a complete fucking pleb when it comes to subtle intrigue in music. He's gonna give it between a 5 and a 7 while calling it meandering, dull and unfocused.
