I was very underwhelmed with Slowdive's new album. It felt like a return to Souvlaki but watered down. I think they should have explored the sounds they had on Just For a Day and Pygmalion, refined it and then branched out into new territory from there.

I was unaware Ride had a new album, so thanks OP.

On a purely song-by-song basis Slowdive s/t is great but I was also disappointed by the fact that they didn't continue their sound from Pygmalion. I didn't really expect them to though.

Ride is so far underwhelming. I would've settled for Nowhere pt. 3 honestly.
