This. Their politics don't make their music retroactively bad. That being said, the last two albums were sort of God awful, especially The Bible 2.

Polvo covered a handful Hendrix songs and I think they were pretty good, including at least Spanish Castle Magic, Freedom, and I think Bold as Love? Wish I could find the clip I'm thinking of, it was a full live performance and they played two of his songs during it. Polvo was probably one of the best live bands ever.

Anyway the original is great, but when I first heard it I didn't realize it was a cover. It really sounds like it could be an Unwound song, definitely showcases how inspirational minutemen were to them, other post-hardcore bands. Totally a Vern bass line.
