Fun fact: Did you know that Frank Zappa was actually black listed in the U.S. and was almost never played on the radio or appeared on U.S. television?
NBC was the first network to break the black list and pic testifies plus his appearances on SNL and The Tonight Show plus various documentaries about him that were shown on various PBS stations across the country.
And yes, there were SOME radio stations that actually DID play his music (Especially Dancing Fool in 1978) but most radio stations wouldn't play him.
