I agree with you, but it don't think your hatred of him is irrational.

Most of his songs are half-assed. He's made it clear that he has no intention of focusing on quality.

I went to see him in NY several years ago for a 2-night gig at Irving Plaza. Apparently, the second night didn't sell well, so he kept reminding the audience in-between songs that they should buy tickets for the next night.

It was incredibly irritating.

I also hate his fake-British accent.

It's funny you mention that, because the only I know who like GBV are people who grew up in shitholes (Erie, PA, Upstate NY, and Indiana).
