I'd say VV is correctly rated, as some of the beats, Raedawn and Popsnot in particular, are anemic and can't keep up with DOOM or establish an atmosphere correctly fitting with the lyrics.

i always thought that vv was considered one of DOOM's best. i always also liked the weird atmosphere of the beats, where you can got from a weird ass beat with like horror strings into a song about traveling back in time and stealing back a donkey kong cartridge
