QOTSA honestly kind of is buttrock. It's good buttrock, but still buttrock nonetheless. Just look at Josh Homme - he's like a man sculpted out of butt cheeks.

As for the album, I just hope it sounds less like "hard rock The Black Keys" than the last one did.
