The album's pretty good
Not their best, but it's undeniably Gorillaz both in sound and groove

I think Albarn has hit the critical mass for making good music a while ago. I watched the song exploder for the new album and he's just so self centered and self important. Usually artists will go on there and talk about how they made the track,as in how all the parts physically came to be. This guy just goes on there and talks for 10 minutes about how it's based on his partner's mom's disease or some shit I could not care about. It was just 10 minutes of him patting himself on the back for being deep and a genius.

The new single's great and I didn't enjoy Humanz, but I feel like we misunderstood what Damon Albarn's intentions are and that's to continue Gorillaz without the need of Damon's vocals and song writing. He was interviewed recently where he stated that he feels too old to continue Gorillaz because he's nearly 50 and realizes that he can no longer connect with the young 20 year old audience with such an age gap (which I disagree with, but I'll take it.)
