is this the most experimental album to come out since, dare i say it, the flowers of romance?
>>73340652
no
>>73340664
This. Art Angels isn't really that experimental
>>73340652
>>73340664
How either of them is experimental?
>>73340727
its a meme you dip
>>73340746
no it isnt
>>73340747
we did it reddit!
>>73340761
now this is a meme
>>73340652
>>73340664
step aside
>>73340772
damn, cant argue with this one. I mean, its almost entirely percussion based African tribal music with screeching and screams over it, hence their being only a vocalist and a drummer making the music
>>73340690
Art Angels is way more experimental and diverse than that lame album.
>>73340652
without doubt
>>73341623
Are you sure that you listened to the album, anon?
>>73343636
As sure as the day.
It isn't even remotely as experimental as this
>>73344338
indeed, but it isn't even remotely devoid of good melodies, good beats, good singing and most importantly, soul. platform is a dull album.
>>73344577
Platform has all of those things, it just requires a little more musical comprehension than your average Grimes track.
>>73344678
Music that requires a written instruction manual in order to understand why it is good is useless desu.
>>73344883
>written instruction manual
>everything I don't get is useless
t. normie
>>73344883
>implying you don't create that instruction manual yourself
Have you ever read a book?
>>73344338
>Dude the Internet LMAO
fucking obnoxious cunt.
sellout
>>73344907
I have an advanced degree in music theory, history, composition and performance. If music requires external effort on my part (which is to say, musical academics) in order to "get" why it is good, then its chances of fulfilling any sort of useful role in the wider population's listening habits are extremely small.
Another /shitposting/ general, aye?
>>73345344
abuse me
>>73344678
>musical comprehension
excuse me, do i need a manual to understand why platform is dull? i'd rather listen to autechre.
>>73345437
What?
>>73345506
please kill me i want to die
>>73340772
Valiant effort, but it fails in comparison to Panic! At The Disco's album Death of a Bachelor
