I still haven't really given it a proper chance. Been listening to TMV for a good 6 years now and they're one of my all time most listened to bands, but I probably only listen to Amputechture once or twice a year.

Easily tied with Goliath for best album. It scratches a very different itch than the rest of their work so almost doesn't even fit in as a Volta album but it's pretty much one of the best albums ever made.

Yeah, what? I know it won a grammy but it's not exactly accessible, most of the songs will get you strange looks from "normal people." Octahedron is the only thing they put out that I'd consider truly accessible and even that would probably get most people skipping tracks for being too out.
