Well, with the possible exception of Squeeze, VU never put out a bad album IMHO.

I got between this and Banana as my favorite album

S/T is super comfy, but sometimes I like songs like heroin and Run Run Run

not their best work, but still one of my fave pop albums of all time. white light white heat is probably the most experimental rock work of the 60s

i prefer nico's solo stuff to banana

You're correct, this is their best work, also probably my #1 album ever. Just make sure you listen to the closet/mono version.

White Light is the best album of the 60s. Theres just so much going on, almost all of them groundbreaking. S/T/ is comfy, and le funny banana is almost equally as groundbreaking as White Light.
