Because punk was always shit, but at least it was fresh during the Minor Threat and Black Flag era. It's a genre that hardly can improve besides turning on something very different like Fugazi.

PUP had a good release last year.

Somery was the best punk album ever released. Descendents have changed which was shown by Hypercaffium Spazzinate. I'm more of a fan of their older stuff from the 80's.
